Watch Your Food

Lately, we are presented with many chemical substances contained in the food we consume everyday and food hygiene are not well preserved. Of course this makes us worry because the impact of bad will happen to us but can cause intoxication. Keep accurate handling of this matter, the food and drinks are a source of nutrients to defend human life. On the other hand, both as a means of growth potential spread of germs and infection. Not uncommon to food poisoning. Can you imagine when food poisoning struck a working population that can make sick and did not come to work. It is even lower productivity and enterprise will suffer huge losses. Food poisoning is an illness caused by poisoning (intoxication) harmful substances or toxic substances after eat food or drink that has been contaminated. Food poisoning can be caused by three sources of poison:
  • Chemical food poisoning, this is due to the presence of toxic chemicals in food. For example, because of an accumulation of metal poisoning (such as lead, mercury) in the body.
  • Biological food poisoning due to consuming food containing toxic substances. For example, potatoes contain solanin green flesh that can cause death if eaten in large quantities. Poisonous mushrooms is a frequent cause of food poisoning.
  • Diseases transmitted by food, having microorganisms eat contaminated food. Normally microorganisms contaminate food by removing toxins then can make intestinal tract infection.

Enjoy Your Cup of Tea


Favors and calm that is the word that comes to mind when enjoying a cup of tea, but what if we drink tea in excess, excess of everything is not good, including the consumption of tea. Although shown to have a myriad of benefits, tea, when consumed in large quantities it can endanger your health. Cancer researchers from Glasgow, Scotland, revealed that men who regularly drank seven cups of tea per day is 50% higher risk of prostate cancer. Research that began in 1970 involving more than 6,000 participants from age range 21 to 75 years. They were divided into 4 groups based on the level of consumption of tea in a day: 0-3 cups, 4-5 cups, six cups and seven cups or more. The result, as many as 318 men in the last group of prostate cancer.
